The Maritime Museum and Welsh Highland Heritage Railway are only a short drive away too, and make a great alternative to outdoorsy activities if the weather’s not great. Nearby Caernarfon Castle is well worth a visit too, it has an amazing history and will be a highlight for any family trips or for anyone interested in learning more about Welsh history.
